Carahsoft has been helping multiple technology companies to match their product and service offerings with the requirements of their prospective clients in the public sector, Trajectory Magazine Online reports.
“We’re always willing to talk to a technology company, but we have to make sure it’s the right fit for both sides,” Michael Shrader, vice president of intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, told the magazine.
“We want to make sure they solve a business proposition for our government customers.â€
The Reston, Virginia-based contractor also works with smaller companies to help them navigate the government procurement and security clearance processes as well as promote technologies through forums and webinars, according to the article.
Shrader noted VMware, Splunk, Arista and PernixData as among the vendors that can provide tools for agenies to consolidate data centers or streamline IT functions.
Carahsoft is slated to showcase a range of geospatial technology platforms at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s annual GEOINT Symposium to be held on June 22-25, in Washington D.C.
