Insitu has received the Champions of Veterans Enterprise award from the National Veteran Small Business Coalition for the company’s support for veteran-owned small businesses in fiscal year 2014.
The National Veteran Small Business Coalition presented the award during a symposium held in Norfolk, Virginia, last week, Insitu said Thursday.
“At Insitu we pride ourselves in supporting the warfighter in the field with our products and services and it is especially rewarding to support them when they transition to civilian workforce,†said Ryan Hartman, president and CEO of Insitu.
Insitu said it placed 9.6 percent of its subcontracted dollars with small businesses in 2014 with veteran-owned firms.
