IBM and Sogeti have forged an alliance to provide developers access to IBM’s cloud platform-as-a-service in an effort to help them analyze data.
Sogeti will use IBM’s Bluemix tool to develop hybrid cloud applications across public, private and on-premise infrastructure, IBM said Thursday.
Steve Robinson, general manager of IBM cloud platform services, said the partnership aims to help developers achieve efficiency with the Bluemix cloud platform.
Sogeti, a subsidiary of Capgemini, will combine its smartEngine gateway with Bluemix for customers in manufacturing, agriculture and utilities management industries to view data.
Bluemix incorporates IBM’s middleware software into other open services to deliver DevOps resources in the cloud.
