Peter Oosterveer, Fluor’s chief operating officer, has been elected to the board of U.S.-China Business Council.
He will work to build up trade and investment opportunities between the U.S. and China, Fluor said Tuesday.
“I am delighted with the addition of Peter Oosterveer to the board,†said John Frisbie, USCBC president.
“With China representing a $350 billion market for American companies, it is important to have a dynamic group of American business leaders, including those from the engineering and construction sector, focused on expanding the U.S.-China commercial relationship,†Frisbie added.
