Unisys has won the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s 2015 Destination Innovation Award in the safety and security category for the company’s Stealth product.
One of four finalists, Stealth received the award after a series of presentations by Unisys representatives to a panel of judges, Unisys said Tuesday.
The product is designed to help customers defend against sophisticated threats through the use of advanced data protection and encryption technologies.
“Security innovation will come from a variety of sources, not just from start-ups,” said Tom Patterson, vice president for global security solutions at Unisys.
Stealth works to form communities within an enterprise to provide exclusive access to authorized users.
