The Georgia Department of Labor has started adopting an Information Builders business intelligence tool to help monitor the progress of Employ Georgia, a statewide program that intends to help unemployed individuals find jobs.
The state department’s workforce solutions unit also uses the WebFOCUS platform to transmit labor statistics and trends to state and federal agencies and send reports to career center executives through the tool’s ReportCaster feature, the company said Tuesday.
Gerald Cohen, president and CEO at Information Builders, said the company’s analytics platform seeks to help government officials “assess progress with public initiatives and make the best use of taxpayer funds.â€
“We are pleased to play a role helping the state of Georgia reduce unemployment and keep its workforce engaged.”
