A ManTech International Corp. subsidiary has introduced a new version of its automated malware analysis tool intended to help customers detect malware and comply with data protection rules.
ManTech Cyber Solutions International designed the Responder PRO Linux Edition for users to analyze physical memory from Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS servers, ManTech said Wednesday.
“The right place to detect malware is in memory, and MCSI has solved this difficult problem with our patented digital DNA technology that performs behavior-based analysis of physical memory to detect malicious processes,†Raj Dodhiawala, MCSI senior vice president and general manager.
Responder PRO works to reverse-engineer in-memory code for examination, detect zero-day threats and disclose vulnerable artifacts for incident response.
The product will be available to the public in the second quarter of 2015.
ManTech has scheduled a formal rollout at next week’s RSA conference in San Francisco.
