Steven Weiss serves as executive vice president for government business operations at CACI International Inc., where he is responsible for managing and planning contracts, subcontracts, procurement and property functions.
Weiss reports to Ken Asbury, CACI’s president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list for 2015.
He began his career as an Air Force contracting officer serving a combined 20 years on active duty and with the Air Force Reserves.
The three-decade operations and acquisition management veteran is also a member of the board of directors of AC FIRST, a logistic joint venture between CACI and AECOM, and as CACI corporate ombudsman.
He serves on the Army Contracting Command – Industry Advisory Council and is a member of the National Contract Management Association’s board of advisers.
Weiss served as a senior VP for administration and associate director of corporate contracts at Science Applications International Corp. before he joined CACI.
He previously held business development, project management and contracts administration roles at Whittaker Microwave and DBA Systems.
Weiss earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Florida and master’s degree in public administration from Troy State University.
