Martin Homlish, formerly CEO of Omnicom Group’s AMP marketing agency, has joined the board of directors of Cray Inc.
He will also serve on the board’s strategic technology assessment committee, Cray said Friday.
Peter Ungaro, president and CEO of Cray, said Homlish’s executive leadership and background will be valuable to the company as Cray continues to develop big data storage and analytics services.
The four-decade marketing veteran most recently worked with AMP’s senior executive clients to extract value from their investments.
Homlish previously served as executive vice president, chief customer officer, chief marketing officer and executive committee member at Hewlett-Packard.
He also held the roles of global CMO, chief operating officer and corporate officer at SAP after working for 15 years at Sony Corp.
