Charlie Thomas has been leading Razorsight as chief executive since 2005 with over 20 years of industry experience in sales, marketing, finance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and recruiting.
He has co-founded several startups, helping establish investment bank Claris Capital in 2002 plus an Internet service provider (acquired by Verio), an IT services company (now a GTCR company) and a data center hosting firm.
Prior to Claris, he was founder and CEO of Net2000 Communications, which he guided to an IPO in 2000 with market capitalization reaching $1.5 billion.
Thomas was named on the top 50 entrepreneurs list in Virginia in 2012 and steered Razorsight’s cloud analytics offering to become a trendsetter in global communications software, according to Frost & Sullivan (2012) and Pipeline Magazine (2013) rankings.
He sits on the board of several organizations, including the Potomac Officers Club and Digital Global Systems.
He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and is the author of a book on entrepreneurship.
