CGI has been awarded a five-year, $27.3 million contract to help North Wales Police design, build and operate a new information and communications technology system.
The North Wales Police ICT modernization effort is part of the agency’s strategy to transform service delivery and operational activities, CGI said Tuesday.
Under the contract, the company will also provide managed business services to agency staff and police officers.
CGI will also work to secure and manage enterprise applications, networks and desktop and mobile environments for North Wales Police in accordance with the region’s data security management regulations.
