FireEye has integrated two of its analytics platforms into a Viewfinity endpoint protection technology as the companies aim to help enterprise clients address threats faster.
The merged product is designed to correlate application and endpoint access data collected by Viewfinity’s technology with enterprise network threat information from FireEye’s cloud-based Threat Analytics Platform and AX forensic analytics tool, FireEye said Tuesday.
Grady Summers, vice president of strategic solutions at FireEye, said he believes that “endpoint to network security visibility is an instrumental component to stopping advance attacks.”
FireEye designed TAP to help users identify malicious activity through a dashboard intended to display threat data according to the security information’s priority status.
The Viewfinity platform will work to restrict execution of any suspicious application as well as stop malware recognized by FireEye’s technology at endpoint level, FireEye says.
