Mike Kahn serves as a senior vice president at ATK and the 25-year company veteran also leads the defense group as president.
Kahn has served in multiple senior leadership positions such as president of the missile products group, executive vice president of the aerospace systems group and EVP and GM of the launch systems group.
The defense group produces small-, medium- and large-caliber ammunition as well as technology for missile defense interceptors, fuzes, warheads, mission aircraft, propulsion and control.
As launch systems head, Kahn managed and supported programs such as the Space Shuttle reusable solid rocket motors, NASA‘s future space exploration and Trident D-5, Minuteman III and other launch vehicles’ propulsion systems.
Kahn has worked with customers such as NASA, the U.S. military and others in the commercial sector on programs related to solid and liquid propulsion systems since 1981.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University
