Dr. Pamela Drew serves as executive vice president and president of the information systems business area at Exelis.
Dr. Drew leads the organization in providing system architecture, development, integration, testing, evaluation, maintenance and sustainment services to government customers.
Before Exelis, she was senior VP for strategic capabilities and technology at TASC and also led that company’s enterprise systems division that worked with federal civilian and defense organizations.
She has also served as a business development VP at Northrop Grumman‘s mission systems sector .
Prior to joining Northrop in 2008, Dr. Drew led Boeing‘s integrated defense and security solutions unit as vice president and general manager.
She also managed the C4ISR organization of Boeing and worked in the Phantom Works subsidiary, where she helped develop and transition technology between the commercial airplane and military businesses.
She is also an associate fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronauts and serves on the board of directors at the University of Washington’s applied physics lab as well as on the engineering advisory councils at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, a master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate from the University of Colorado.
