Mona Bates serves as director of strategy and architecture for the information technology organization within Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business segment.
She also leads Raytheon’s engineering automation council, which develops engineering automation and service best practices.
The 16-year IT veteran previously led integrated missile defense  programs for the Missile Defense Agency and Joint Functional Component Command.
Bates helped to establish MDA’s enterprise IT services organization and combined multiple contracts during her stint at the agency.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in computer networking from Regis University.
