Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons‘ government services group president, will advise the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University on technology development, strategic partnerships and other pursuits as a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council.
The company said Monday Syracuse invited Hopkins, who graduated from the university with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering, to join the advisory council.
“I look forward to working with Dean [Laura] Steinberg, Interim Dean [Chilukuri] Mohan, and other members of the university community to help shape the future of the College of Engineering and Computer Science,” she said.
As a student at Syracuse, she was a recipient of the Ralph Burrows Everett Award for Deserving Civil Engineering Junior and Civil Engineering Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement by a Senior.
Hopkins, a professional engineer, joined Parsons in 1989 and has worked on project management, operations, business development and federal sector projects.
