IBM is seeing growing interest in the company’s offerings worldwide as enterprises continue to adopt cloud, analytics and mobile technologies.
Stephen Leonard, general manager of sales at IBM systems and technology group, said Wednesday that the company’s new systems work to help clients “modernize their IT environments for emerging big data, cloud computing, mobile and social technologies.â€
“Clients are migrating from non-IBM systems to infrastructures based on these IBM systems and the results they are seeing demonstrate that the right infrastructure does matter,†Leonard added.
IBM has inked contracts with new clients such as Alabama-based managed services provider Logista Solutions, Brazil’s Algar Telecom and the eThekwini municipality in South Africa.
The company noted one of its recent studies that indicates 70 percent of businesses have adopted big data and analytics, cloud, mobile and social platforms.
