MantechLogoManTech’s cyber services business unit has updated its endpoint malware protection platform in an effort to help clients detect and remedy compromised systems.

ManTech Cyber Solutions International unveiled the second version of Active Defense platform, powered by its digital DNA technology, for users to identify in-memory zero-days, rootkits and targeted attacks, ManTech said Wednesday.

“Active Defense offers the unparalleled capability to analyze and detect malicious codes executing in memory, allowing incident responders to efficiently pinpoint compromised systems, determine the scope of breach, and ultimately eliminate the threats,” said Raj Dodhiawala, vice president of products and marketing at ManTech Cyber Solutions International.

The business designed the tool for incident responders to pinpoint malware and system alterations, as well as develop threat intelligence.

Active Defense 2.0 also works to extend its various functions to multiple hardware pieces, scan a host and deploy a scanner on demand.
