Government customers will be able to purchase unified products from GIS mapping software maker Esri and operational intelligence provider OSIsoft through the immixGroup marketplace.
The two companies announced Tuesday that they have agreed to make their PI System and ArcGIS tools available under the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 for commercial technology vendors.
Esri and OSIsoft said being able to purchase the two products in a single contract transaction should provide the federal client with options for fast actionable insights through quicker procurement and setup times.
The two technologies offer federal organizations with industry-standard tools to collect, manage and analyze real-time sensor-based data and geospatial data.
“Esri and OSIsoft have been working very closely to integrate real-time operational data with Esri’s ArcGIS mapping platform,” said Jeff Peters, director of global national government sales at Esri.
“Bringing the power of space and time into one system is fundamental,†he added.
The price that has already been determined under the agreement already includes the license for both products, freeing buyers from additional requests for proposals and justifications for sole source purchases.
