Informatica will demonstrate several of its latest data integration software tools at this week’s Hadoop Summit in California.
The company will show is the PowerCenter Big Data Edition running on the HortonWorks 2.1, which offers a visual development platform with reusable business rules, and collaboration and deployment tools for data integration at scale, Informatica said Friday.
The company will also exhibit the Vibe Data Stream for Machine Data, which is designed to streamline the collection of small messages and events from the Internet of Things into a Hadoop environment.
“As Hadoop continues its drive into the mainstream with platforms such as HDP 2.1, companies are looking for enterprise-class data management solutions to unleash big data potential without undue cost and risk,†said John Haddad, senior director for big data product marketing at Informatica.
Informatica aims to help manage big data in development productivity, quicker staff deployments and futureproofed big data ecosystems.
