Cloud service providers using HP’s CloudSystem can now implement Gemalto’s Protiva Cloud Confirm authentication software under the platform.
The Protiva tool works to offer users “secure, frictionless access” with mobile one-time password capability in a multi-tenant environment, Gemalto said Thursday.
Xavier Beauchamps, HP Helion vice president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, expects the Protiva authenticator to help HP clients achieve security and convenience gains, which he said could translate to new revenue streams for its CSP partners.
“With our solution, CSPs’ enterprise customers can make the most of BYOD, enabling employees to use their own mobile device with the same high security level as their corporate laptop,” said Marc Hudavert, senior vice president of identity and access at Gemalto.
