Marcus Starke, formerly senior vice president of worldwide marketing and communications regions at SAP, will bring 25 years of marketing and business experience to MicroStrategy as that company’s new chief marketing officer.
“Marcus is a thought-leader who’s passionate about innovation, and his track record as a disruptive force in strategy, marketing and communications couldn’t be better suited to our plans to transform the market with our offerings,” Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, said Tuesday.
Prior to his five-year service at SAP, Starke served as WPP Group‘s Wunderman president and CEO for EMEA and Publicis Frankfurt‘s chairman and CEO.
