IBM will host summit from March 24 to March 25 in its San Jose, Calif. facility to further promote big data and technology for college students, U.S. News University Directory reported Thursday.Â
Chris Hassan writes that the T-Summit 2014: Cultivating Tomorrow’s Talent Today is a part of IBM’s partnership with the Michigan State University’s Collegiate Employment Research Institute.
Speakers for the two-day event will include Michigan State University President Lou Anna K. Simon, IDEO President and CEO Tim Brown and IBM Global University Programs Director Jim Spohrer.
“If you sum up the total number of educational professionals, including community colleges, teaching colleges, research universities, it’s well past 10,000 – probably closer to 30,000 – higher education professionals in this network we’re working with to develop this new curriculum,” Spohrer said, according to the report.
