Information Builders has opened a new office in Sao Paulo, Brazil as part of the company’s move to expand in that country’s enterprise technology market.
Miguel Reyes will lead the office as it works to offer business intelligence and analytics tools to customers and partners in Brazil, the company said Wednesday.
“Information Builders is focused on continuing to build our international presence, and opening our new office in Brazil is a key milestone in this expansion,” President and CEO Gerald Cohen said.
Cohen added the new office will have a direct sales team and aim to develop the company’s partnership network in Brazil and Latin America.
Brazil is the world’s seventh-largest economy and the largest in Latin America with a population of 200 million, according to the International Monetary Fund.
The company also plans to expand its partnerships with Everis, Keyrus and Innovacao with the new office.
