Warren East, formerly CEO of semiconductor intellectual property supplier ARM Holdings, has joined the advisory board of Oxehealth, a spin-out from the University of Oxford’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering.
East will work to help Oxehealth drive its non-contact vital signs technology into the market and pursue partnership opportunities, Oxehealth said Thursday.
He will also collaborate with Oxehealth to obtain a patent for its software offering with the goal of eventually offering algorithms to consumer and clinical health providers.
East most recently led ARM Holdings’ initiative to develop the technology for digital electronic products.
He was previously a board member at Rolls Royce, De La Rue, Dyson and BT.
Oxehealth plans to commercialize its technology to retail, security, automotive and other markets.
