Matthew Oostveen, formerly director of research at IDC Australia, has joined VCEÂ as chief technology officer for the company’s operations in the Asia-Pacific region and Japan.
He spent six years in his role at IDC Australia and oversaw research in the firm’s telecommunications, software, verticals and infrastructure divisions, VCE announced Tuesday.
“Asia Pacific and Japan is an exciting region experiencing fast growth and transformation in the IT industry,” Oostveen said.
Oostveen will be responsible for growing VCE’s market share in the APAC region and Japan, as well as aligning the company’s product strategy with potential opportunities.
