Parsons Corp. has introduced a new cybersecurity product that is designed to send crash information from reports generated by Windows operating system to a server for analysis.
The Cran product is built to analyze information and determine whether the crash was caused by a hacker, Parsons said Monday.
Parsons unveiled patent-pending Cran at the Washington-based information security conference ShmooCon 201 in January.
Mary Ann Hopkins, president of Parsons’ government services group, said security experts who attended the conference gave positive reviews of Cran.
Cran is developed for security teams at enterprise organizations to gather threat intelligence for their networks and to address attacks on potentially fragile applications, Parsons said.
