Digital Management Inc. and Samsung Telecommunications America have forged an alliance that will work to help government and commercial organizations deploy mobile technology across the enterprise.
The companies seek to deliver a range of managed deployment, security and help desk services for U.S. customers who aim to implement bring-your-own-device initiatives, DMI said Monday.
DMI will work to help clients manage the Samsung Knox platform, which is built to secure personal and business Android applications.
“Until recently, many large enterprises have relied on legacy devices and technologies to address their security concerns,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI founder and CEO.
Tim Wagner, vice president and general manager of Samsung Mobile’s enterprise unit, added the partnership aims to help organizations manage their mobility investments.
DMI says it has developed 400 additional mobile apps for federal and industrial users in the past year and handles more than 500,000 mobile devices globally.
