Computer Sciences Corp. and HCL Technologies are partnering to create an application modernization delivery network that is intended to help clients transition into a cloud computing platform.
The team’s first delivery centers will be based in Bangalore and Chennai and the companies plan to share cloud application modernization revenue and direct costs, CSC announced Wednesday.
“Enterprises today view digitalization as a route to business model transformation. Organizations have not been able to accrue the potential benefits from digitalization, as they are shackled by legacy technologies,†said Anant Gupta, HCL president and chief executive officer.
Both companies will also create a banking center of excellence that will work to help apps be brokered onto any cloud environment using platforms such as the CSC’s ServiceMesh.
HCL will also white label CSC’s BizCloud under the partnership.
