Carlos Echalar, formerly a vice president at Computer Sciences Corp., has joined MICROS Systems as chief human resources officer and will also serve as a  senior vice president.
Echalar will be responsible for the company’s global human resources strategy that encompasses compensation and benefits, recruitment, diversity, compliance and organization and leadership development, MICROS announced Thursday.
“Human resources should above all be a partner with the operational teams to enhance our go-to-market strategies and delivery philosophy for our clients,” Echalar said.
“It is a pleasure to be joining an organization that recognizes that the company’s success is predicated on having a high-performing, talented and engaged associate base,” he Echalar.
He most recently served as VP of HR for CSC’s global commercial group and is also a former executive VP and CHRO for ManTech International.
He also worked as ManTech International human resources officer.
