Carahsoft’s Robert Moore: State, Local Agencies Could Enhance Customer Experience With AI, Cybersecurity

Robert Moore of Carahsoft Technology said in a blog post published Feb. 23 that government and industry information technology leaders at a digital transformation roadshow in California discussed how state and local government agencies could improve customer experience and protect the privacy of constituents through cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

Chenega’s Security Business Acquires EMI to Expand Fire, Emergency Services Capabilities; Tim Lamb Quoted

Chenega’s security strategic business unit has acquired E&M International for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to broaden its capacity to deliver critical fire and emergency services and capabilities to existing and future customers. SAIC Secures $494M NASA Safety & Mission Assurance Engineering Contract III

Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential seven-year, $494 million recompete contract to provide safety and mission assurance support services at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston and White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico. The Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering Contract III covers safety, reliability, engineering and quality and software assurance support for NASA programs in deep space, including the Gateway lunar space station, Orion spacecraft and Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility, NASA said Friday.

The U.S. Marine Corps demonstrated two uncrewed low-profile vessel prototypes, designed by Leidos, during Project Convergence Capstone 4, a joint and multinational military exercise hosted by the U.S. Army.
