Octo Consulting Group has rebranded as “Octo,†after the company completed the acquisition and integration of Connexta, an IT company based in Phoenix. Octo Consulting acquired Connexta in July 2019 to bolster its existing client base in the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD).Â

Curtiss-Wright has agreed to acquire Pacific Star Communications for $400 million in cash to grow tactical communications technology offerings for the U.S. military sector. PacStar will operate within Curtiss-Wright's defense segment upon closing of the deal and is projected to generate sales in excess of $120 million this year.
