ER GMLRS was fired from the U.S. Army's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launcher and hit targets at a maximum range of 150 kilometers, reflecting performance in terms of flight trajectory, long-range flight and accuracy from launch to impact. Los Alamos National Laboratory is in the process of testing Crossroads, the successor to a supercomputer used by the National Nuclear Security Administration to monitor U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile. The Hewlett Packard Enterprise-built Crossroads will replace Trinity, the first platform under NNSA's Advanced Simulation and Computing Program, as part of continuous upgrades to support large data sets for stockpile simulation and computation.
