Navy Taps BAE's US Arm to Develop Electronic Warfare Test, Evaluation Tools - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary has received a potential four-year, $43.1 million contract from the U.S. Navy to develop software-based tools that would emulate laboratory equipment functions within an electronic warfare test station.

The company will produce test and evaluation tools for the Block 3F Digital Channelized Receiver/Technique Generator and Turner Insertion Program configuration designed for all F-35 operational aircraft of U.S. partners and foreign military sales customers, the Defense Department said Thursday.

DoD noted that work will run through December 2021 and it will obligate $5.3 million in foreign military sales funds at the time of award.

The Navy did not hold a competitive acquisition process for the cost-plus-incentive-fee contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 guidelines.
