Cloud securityBlackMesh’s platform-as-a-service cloud offering has received a Federal Risk Authorization Management Program certification.

BlackMesh’s SecureCloud PaaS product is based on Red Hat-built OpenShift cloud platform, BlackMesh said Tuesday.

Red Hat’s OpenShift works to help developers build, run, manage and deploy cloud services and other applications.

“Achieving FedRAMP certification for SecureCloud is a significant step for the government’s Cloud First policy,” said Eric Mandel, CEO of BlackMesh.

BlackMesh said it also aims to achieve compliance with FedRAMP Revision 4 standard early this year.
