Redwire has built and supplied a pair of roll-out solar arrays to Boeing for installation on the International Space Station as part of a NASA initiative to modernize the orbiting laboratory's power system. Boeing, the prime contractor for NASA ISS operations, received two of the six iROSAs after the hardware completed the acceptance testing phase, Redwire said Thursday.
MoreThomas Campbell, a former general manager for L3Harris Technologies, has been named president of Made In Space, a Redwire subsidiary focused on in-space manufacturing technology. Campbell will lead activities under a portfolio of in-space production technologies, and will succeed Andrew Rush, who will serve as Redwire's chief operating officer on a full-time basis, the company said Wednesday.

Under the 10-Year Lunar Architecture Capability Study, the companies will collaborate to design systems-level platforms spanning multiple lunar services, including lunar power; communications, navigation and timing; mining and commercial in-situ resource utilization; construction and robotics; and transit, mobility and logistics, DARPA said Tuesday.
