A KBR subsidiary is continuing integration activities for the U.S. Army’s Mobile Experimental High Energy Laser weapon at the company’s new facility in Huntsville, Alabama ahead of prototype deliveries scheduled for fiscal year 2022.

KBR has been awarded a $300 million, cost-plus-fixed-fee recompete contract for scientific, engineering and technical services in support of the U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center. "With our systems engineering, science and IT expertise, KBR stands ready to support EROS in meeting its future challenges," said Stuart Bradie, KBR president and CEO. 

KBR has received a one-year, $64.8M contract modification to carry out base operating support services at various U.S. Navy installations in Djibouti and Kenya.

KBR has been awarded a $47 million cost-plus-fixed-fee recompete contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to help U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) with foreign military sales (FMS) to Finland and Kuwait, the company announced Monday. "We are proud to serve the Navy as it strengthens its relationship with Finland and Kuwait by supporting their national security initiatives," said Byron Bright, president of KBR's government solutions business and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.

KBR has received a five-year, $88M task order from the U.S. Air Force's Life Cycle Management Center to support sustainment engineering of F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole jets.

KBR has been awarded a five-year, $93.6 million task order from the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) for base operations services at the Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) in Saudi Arabia, the company announced Thursday. KBR will supply resources to support the base and help ensure quality of life for the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing and partner forces. 

KBR has been awarded a five-year, $75 million recompete contract by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) to modernize infrastructure at U.S. Navy bases located in Djibouti, Africa, the company reported on Monday. Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, KBR will provide engineering, design, construction, renovations, repairs, maintenance, demolition and other services at Camp Lemonnier and Chabelley Airfield.

KBR has been awarded a five-year, $40 million recompete task order to provide sustainment engineering for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center's Bomber Reliability and Sustainment Improvement Program, the company reported on Tuesday.
