KBR has been awarded a $47 million cost-plus-fixed-fee recompete contract by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to help U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) with foreign military sales (FMS) to Finland and Kuwait, the company announced Monday. "We are proud to serve the Navy as it strengthens its relationship with Finland and Kuwait by supporting their national security initiatives," said Byron Bright, president of KBR's government solutions business and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.

KBR has been awarded a five-year, $75 million recompete contract by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Central (NAVFAC EURAFCENT) to modernize infrastructure at U.S. Navy bases located in Djibouti, Africa, the company reported on Monday. Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, KBR will provide engineering, design, construction, renovations, repairs, maintenance, demolition and other services at Camp Lemonnier and Chabelley Airfield.
