Collins Aerospace, a company of Raytheon Technologies, has manufactured the 600th Thrust Vector Actuation (TVA) System for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system. The company said Thursday the TVA is an all-electric component that has guided all of THAAD's live fire intercept activities so far. The component has also demonstrated capabilities needed for future missile weapon systems.Â
MoreThomas Hutton, former CEO of Cadence Aerospace, has been appointed to fill the same role at Gamma Aerospace, a Mansfield, Texas-based manufacturer of airframe and flight components. He will be responsible for overseeing the company's aerospace leadership team and for driving its efforts to achieve growth and transformation, Gamma Aerospace said Wednesday.
MoreMarian Joh, who holds nearly three decades of experience in the aerospace and technology industries, has been tapped by Voyager Space Holdings to serve on its board of directors. Joh will bring her experience in corporate strategy and financing to her role and advise Voyager leadership in pursuit of enabling various space exploration missions, the company said Wednesday.

MoreBell has opened an office in Wichita, Kan., that will house the Textron subsidiary's corporate, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering functions and programs that support aerospace customers. The new facility is part of an investment to grow Bell operations after the U.S. Army selected the aircraft manufacturer to participate in two of the service branch's modernization programs, Textron said Thursday.

Prior to joining Tenax, Boeckx served as executive vice president of Corporate Development at Akima.
