Redwire has built and supplied a pair of roll-out solar arrays to Boeing for installation on the International Space Station as part of a NASA initiative to modernize the orbiting laboratory's power system. Boeing, the prime contractor for NASA ISS operations, received two of the six iROSAs after the hardware completed the acceptance testing phase, Redwire said Thursday.

Northrop Grumman has completed the initial preliminary design review (PDR) for the Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO), the company reported on Wednesday. The module will support NASA’s Lunar Gateway by working as a crew habitat and docking hub for vehicles. “Maturing HALO through its preliminary design marks a major milestone in the module’s production,” said Steve Krein, vice president of civil and commercial satellites at Northrop Grumman.

The Canadian space agency has indicated its intent to award MDA Inc. a contract to build a robotic system that will serve as Canada's contribution Artemis, NASA's mission to put astronauts on the moon by 2024. Brampton, Ontario-based MDA will work to develop robotic and small dexterous arms and special tools to support heavy-duty tasks on a lunar Gateway outpost, CSA said Friday.
