Iron Mountain Launches Health Data Management Offering in Canada; Greg McIntosh Comments

Iron Mountain has unveiled an information technology platform that seeks to help healthcare organizations in Canada to store, manage and secure patients’ records.

The company said Monday it will offer adopters of the Canadian Health Information Management Solution with services that aim to facilitate conversion of paper to electronic records.

Iron Mountain will also provide cloud-based data mapping technology, eRecords consulting and data management services for medical institutions in the country.

Greg McIntosh, senior vice president and general manager for Iron Mountain Canada, said the company’s information management offering intends to help the country’s health organizations “improve patient care through better and faster access to information.”
