Technology services provider Procentrix has launched an artificial intelligence tool designed to speed up the processing and analysis of foreign language materials.
“TALIS is a game-changer for agencies that process multiple languages materials for national security, law enforcement and public safety missions,” Phil Miller, senior vice president of corporate strategy at Procentrix, said in a statement published Monday.
“A large investigative agency using TALIS has seen media-file analysis reduced from approximately 80-hours to just 8-minutes. The processing speed and ability to uncover relationships and prioritize intelligence TALIS provides has allowed investigators to focus on higher-value, mission-critical tasks,” Miller added.
What Is TALIS?
TALIS, which is short for Translation Analytics Linking and Intelligence System, is built on Microsoft Azure services and helps streamline investigations and case management by enhancing the analysis of digital content and media in 200 languages.
The AI tool delivers advanced translation, search, transcription and analytics across large datasets and files.
The technology features an intelligent linking system to connect data across case files and helps improve case analytics by enhancing large language models with tailored dictionaries.
