John Zangardi, CEO of Redhorse Corp. and a 2022 Wash100 Award winner, pointed to secure networks, cloud technology and artificial intelligence as the key capabilities he believes will help the U.S. military make data-driven decisions.

The retired naval flight officer gave his perspective on the game-changing potential of AI in defense missions during a recent Executive Spotlight interview with GovCon Wire.

“I think the future is bright. The power of analytics and AI is key to how the U.S. will solve important national security challenges. Redhorse aims to be involved in that,” Zangardi said.

He noted in the Q&A session the importance of maintaining continuous cybersecurity practices and the need for government leaders to address the complexity of zero trust adoption.

“There remains some education to be done across all levels of government and industry. There are those who haven’t thought through the cybersecurity problem, and they must be convinced.”
