The U.S. Army has selected CACI International to support the service branch’s Intelligence and Security Command with mission expertise under a potential five-year, $80 million task order.
The contract award obligates the CACI team to assist INSCOM and the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade as a function of the Army’s Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 initiative by conducting tactical intelligence and analytical advisement, the Reston, Virginia-based company said Monday.
John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI, shared that the company’s skilled and cleared staff, who are versed in military matters, will be instrumental in helping the Army gather multidomain geospatial and signals intelligence.
“This new task order expands our support to INSCOM and the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade with additional expertise to enable mission success,” added the three-time Wash100 Award recipient.
The INSCOM collaboration is intended to enable the Army to keep pace with modernizations in aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies. It will put CACI’s team in direct correspondence and partnership with warfighters, demonstrating and executing technical, functional and cross-disciplinary aid in the collection of geospatial intelligence and signals intelligence.
Work will primarily take place at Fort Gordon in Georgia.
CACI has a demonstrated history of working with INSCOM and the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade, as well as with the Army broadly. In January, the contractor landed a $514 million task order from the service branch to update and retool plant infrastructure and facilities that provide data networks for a slew of military outposts across the globe.
