Falls Church, Virginia-based XOR Security has received a $31.4 million task order to help the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office secure the agency’s information technology operations.
USPTO awarded the task order after a full and open competition under the Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Service category of a General Services Administration-managed contract vehicle, the company said Tuesday.
XOR will work with the agency’s Office of the Chief Information Officer in managing the performance and security of networks, software and systems.
The company added that it will help USPTO align the project with Executive Order 13800 aimed at protecting federal networks and critical infrastructure against cyber threats.
