EY and Deloitte have won separate contracts to provide professional services to Australia’s information technology project aimed at implementing an enterprise resource planning system for the country’s public sector, Consultancy.com reported Sunday.
The Australian service agency awarded $10.4 million to EY and $4.3 million to Deloitte to support the GovERP project.
Under EY’s contract, the company will help the government customer implement the SAP S/4HANA platform and perform services for the project through mid-2023.
Deloitte will carry out program management work under its agreement with the agency.
The Australian finance department describes GovERP as a common back-office platform intended to help agencies manage business processes such as finance, procurement and human resources functions.
