ManTech International has secured a five-year, $136 million task order to provide research and development support to the U.S. Marine Corps’ science and technology programs.
The award under the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s Multiple Award Contract covers support for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Force Design 2030 and emerging capability development, the company said Thursday.
David Hathaway, executive vice president and general manager of Mantech’s defense sector, commented on the contract win, “Through our experience with and commitment to developing innovative capabilities that give U.S. Marine Corps forces a decisive advantage, ManTech is a trusted partner of this customer.”
The company plans to apply its capabilities across analytics, automation, AI, cognitive cyber and space operations to deliver research, development, testing and evaluation support to the military branch.
ManTech recently signed a $350 million deal to acquire Gryphon Technologies in a strategic move to broaden its defense portfolio. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2021.
