L3Harris Technologies will maintain and repair the airborne self-protection jammer and integrated defensive electronic countermeasure systems of the F/A-18 series aircraft under a $45.9 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy.
The maintenance and repair services in support of the fighter jet's AN/ALQ-165 ASPJ and AN/ALQ-214 IDECM also cover the software installed on the aircraft for self-protection optimization, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Contract work for the Navy and foreign military sales customers that use F/A-18 aircraft will be conducted in Clifton, New Jersey, through February 2026.
L3Harris is set to receive funds under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursement, IDIQ contract as individual orders are issued.
In August, the company was awarded a three-year, $104M contract to deliver 35 AN/ALQ-214 IDECM onboard jammer systems to Navy, and to provide test asset repair and field support services.
