The U.S. Army will conduct meetings with vendors that plan to pursue the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle follow-on contract through a three-day static display event this month and one-on-one sessions in early February.
A notice on the beta SAM website posted Friday says the Army invites interested contractors to schedule a one-hour session from Jan. 26 to 28 during the static display event for the JLTV program that will be held at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township, Michigan.
Each contractor can send up to five representatives for the static display.
The service also invites interested companies to book an hour-and-a-half session on Feb. 2 and 3. Contractors that plan to participate should respond by Jan. 22.
Inside Defense reported the JLTV recompete contract could have a ceiling of up to $12.3B for the procurement of 30K vehicles and 10K trailers over a 10-year period. The Army is set to release the final solicitation for the follow-on contract in January 2022 with plans to award the contract in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022.
Oshkosh is the incumbent on the JLTV contract and secured an $888M contract modification in November to produce additional trailers, vehicles and kits.
