The Federal Communications Commission seeks technology and related services to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual work within the Universal Service Administrative Company, an FCC-supported nonprofit that handles funding for broadband and connectivity needs.
FCC said Wednesday in a SAM notice it requires robotic process automation services and tool to help USAC meet strategic goals, streamline workflows, lessen operational risk, transition from manual transactional processing and enhance functionality for users.
According to the agency's request for proposals, the selected contractor would offer services and tools necessary for RPA implementation across USAC's High Cost program that aims to provide network access in underserved U.S. locations.
USAC is tasked to oversee disbursement, billing and other administrative functions associated with the Universal Service Fund.
Interested parties may submit proposals through Jan. 4, 2021.
