Paul Kaminski, chairman and CEO of defense consulting firm Technovation, has joined Digital Global Systems' board of directors to provide military expertise as the company looks to transition to key markets.
He brings defense experience as a retired U.S. Air Force official who served as the undersecretary of defense for acquisition and technology, DGS said Monday.
Kaminski also formerly led the technology-driven investment banking firm Technology Strategies and Alliances as chairman and CEO.
The military vet has contributed his expertise to intelligence advisory boards for the U.S. president, the director of national intelligence, the FBI director and the U.S. Senate.
He also serves as a member of various advisory and director boards such as those of Seagate Government Solutions, MITRE and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
Kaminski is a recipient of the 2006 National Medal of Technology and other awards and is a fellow of professional organizations including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
DGS offers technology designed to detect, identify and track radio frequency signals for defense and security matters.
